Nine Chinese crew members are missing off a Panama-registered ship, after it collided with a South Korean cargo ship and sunk.
The accident occurred in waters near Japan’s Kanagawa Prefecture early Tuesday morning. The Chinese Embassy in Tokyo has said there were 20 Chinese crew members onboard, and 11 of them have been rescued. The 14 crew members on the South Korean ship are safe.
