This thesis attempts to make a cognitive research on zuo (left) / you (right) orientation in the Chinese language, especially in the domains of“space”and“non-human natural entities, quantitative approximation, honoring zuo (left) and humiliating you (right) and vice versa”.

本文试图从认知语言学视角出发,对汉语左/右方位中的“空间”域和“非人类自然体、量化近似、尊左卑右和尊右卑左”域等进行研究,揭示其身体体验性和隐喻性,进而阐明汉语中左/右方位隐喻的经验基础和工作机制。
