Senior officials from the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation are meeting in the eastern Chinese city, Ningbo, in Zhejiang province. The theme is "Shaping the Future through Asia-Pacific Partnership."
During their two days in Ningbo, delegates will promote pragmatic cooperation in advancing regional economic integration, and innovative development economic reform and growth. They will also focus on strengthening comprehensive connectivity and infrastructure development.
China is the 2014 host member, and plans to hold more than a hundred APEC meetings and related events over the course of the year.
