One dead, several wounded in Russell Square knife attack

A woman has died and five other people wounded in a knife attack in central London's Russell Square.

Police and ambulance crews were called at around 10:30 PM local time on Wednesday to reports of the stabbings.

Up to six wounded people were found at the scene. One woman was pronounced dead a short time later. The attacker was arrested minutes later.

Police say terrorism is one possible motive being explored.
