In the Czech Republic, rabbits have helped onlookers in Prague get into the Easter spirit, with a bunny hop competition held Monday in the capital’s Old Town Square.

Rabbits were led over small jumps - or took a short-cut through gaps in the bars. But they may not have appreciated some of the higher jumps, as some needed a helping hand to get over the obstacles. While others just decided to hang out and look cute.

Organizers say the practice took off when it became increasingly popular to keep rabbits as pets. Unfortunately, the race ended abruptly when a hail storm swept though the city, sending many people and their pets running for shelter.
