中国北部迎来暴雪

周四，中国局部迎来新一轮降雪。据报道，新疆维吾尔族自治区某些地区降雪持续了近30个小时，地上积雪深达10厘米。

A new round of snow lashed parts of China on Thursday. The snowfall in some areas of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region was reported to have lasted nearly 30 hours, with snow packing on the ground as thick as ten centimeters.

Many highways have been blocked in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region due to the continuing heavy snow. 

The provinces of Heilongjiang and Jilin in the northeast also saw their largest snowfall this winter.

Weather authorities say the snowfall will continue in some areas over the course of the following two days.
