According to the work s features of the brake used in the travelling mechanism of the crane,the author mainly introduced and designed the brake in this paper,which has the simple structure and operated easily and safe double brake function and is operated easily.

根据现有起重机行走机构所用制动器的工作特点，着重论述和设计了结构简单、操作方便、安全可靠的具有二次制动功能的制动器，同时还对其工作性能进行了试验研究。
