Volare

The new catalogue of the Wolf-Rayet stars is used, their distributions both within and perpendic- u lar to Galactic plane are analysed, and their surface density obtained, the total number of Wolf-Rayet stars in the Galaxy is about 2500.

利用沃尔夫-拉叶星的新星表对它们在银道面上和垂直银道面的分布作了分析,推导出它们的面密度,进而得出银河系内的总数约为2500颗。
