韩国核问题首席特使赴美

South Korea's chief nuclear envoy Kim Hong-kyun has left for Washington for a series of meetings with U.S. officials on ways to cope with security threats from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Kim is expected to meet his US counterpart Sung Kim on Friday. They will discuss plans, including putting pressure on the DPRK and strengthening cooperation between South Korea and the U.S.
