奥马哈海滩纪念诺曼底登陆

奥马哈海滩是1944年6月6日盟军士兵登陆的五大海滩之一。老兵和世界各国领导人齐聚奥马哈海滩参与诺曼底登陆的纪念仪式。

Omaha Beach was one of the five beaches on which allied soldiers landed on June the 6th, 1944. Presently, veterans and world leaders are gathering there to attend a ceremony marking the historic day.

Eight official commemorative activities are to be held to mark the D-Day landings. World leaders, including French president Francois Hollande, US President Barack Obama, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and more than 1,800 veterans have been invited to attend the ceremonies.

The main international official ceremony will be held on Sword Beach, which will see world leaders including US President Barack Obama, British Prime Minister David Cameron and representatives from the British Royal family in attendance.
