中国2015年GDP增长6.9% 创25年来新低

The figures released by the National Bureau of Statistics show China posted a 6.9 percent annual growth in 2015, the lowest since 1990.

The NBS said it was not a low growth, considering the headwinds China is facing. These include weak exports, factory overcapacity, a soft property market and slowing investment.

One bright spot is that the services sector's share in the GDP rose 2.4 percentage points to 50.5 percent, overtaking other sectors, which analysts say signified China's structural transformation. The GDP figure provided some relief to investors as it matched previous forecasts.
