习近平会见阿拉伯国家领导人

Chinese president Xi Jinping met with the heads of of the Arab delegations at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

President Xi said China and Arab countries have shared a close relationship since the days of the ancient Silk Road. He said China will continue to push for diplomatic solutions towards peace process in the Middle-East, to promote bilateral cultural dialogues, and help Arab countries to explore their own ways of development.

Kuwaiti Prime Minister expressed his hope to deepen cooperation and develope strategic relationship with China. Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Salaheddine Mezouar said Arab countries would like to echo President Xi’s call to work on the buliding of the Silk Road economic belt and 21st martime Silk Road, to fight against terrorism and achieve regional peace and stability.
