The 17th Xuyi Crayfish festival was celebrated by more than 30,000 people, including local residents and tourists in Xuyi, east China’s Jiangsu province, June 13, 2017. They enjoyed themselves at a grand crayfish banquet, eating up 35 tons of crayfishes provided by 47 local shops. Crayfish is a renowned specialty in Xuyi county with production value reaching 10 billion yuan ($1.5 billion), and an international crayfish festival is held here every summer.
