湄公河“联合巡逻执法”启动

3月17日，在云南省西双版纳傣族自治州关累港，6艘中国执法艇和1艘老挝执法艇鸣笛起航，标志着中老缅泰第32次湄公河联合巡逻执法正式启动。

Chinese armed police officers took part in a joint patrol operation along the Mekong River on March 17. The patrol is the 32nd such operation launched by China, Thailand, Myanmar and Laos since 2011, with the aim of enhancing marine safety on the river.

3月17日，中国武装执法人员启动了中老缅泰第32次湄公河联合巡逻执法（joint patrol operation）。四国联合执法于2011年启动，旨在共同维护湄公河流域治安问题。

“联合巡逻执法”即joint patrol operation。联合巡逻执法的任务包括保护商船（escorting commercial ship） 、惩治跨境犯罪（fighting cross-border crime）、维护社会秩序（safeguard social order）等。

除了“中老缅泰”联合巡逻执法外，中国还与泰国、印尼、新加坡等国举行多项联合行动（joint exercises）。
