习近平和特朗普就新冠疫情通电话 只有合作才能共赢

Chinese president Xi Jinping said China is willing to work with all parties, including the United States, on fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic.

中国国家主席习近平说，中国愿意与包括美国在内的各方合作，共同对抗COVID-19疫情。

Xi made the remarks on a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump, at the invitation of the U.S. side, on Friday.

星期五，习近平是应美国方面邀请与美国总统唐纳德·特朗普通电话的时候发表了此番言论。

China has been sharing information on COVID-19 in an open, transparent and responsible manner with the World Health organization and countries including the United States since the onset of the epidemic, Xi said.

习近平说，自从疫情爆发以来，中国一直本着公开、透明、负责任态度，及时向世卫组织以及包括美国在内的有关国家通报疫情信息。

China wasted no time in releasing such information as the genetic sequence of the virus, and has also been sharing experience on COVID-19 prevention, containment and treatment without reservation, and providing as much support and assistance as it can for countries in need, Xi added.

中国第一时间发布了该病毒的基因序列等信息，并且一直在毫无保留地分享有关COVID-19的防控和治疗经验，并尽己所能为有需要的国家提供了支持和援助，习近平补充说。

China will continue to do so, and work with the international community to prevail over the pandemic, Xi said.

习近平说，中国将继续这样做，并与国际社会一道战胜这场疫情。

Trump said on his twitter account that he had a "very good conversation" with his Chinese counterpart.

特朗普在推特帐户上说，他与中国同行进行了“非常良好的对话”。

He said they discussed in "great detail" about the coronavirus and that "China has been through much & has developed a strong understanding of the Virus."

他说，他们就冠状病毒进行了“详尽的讨论”，并说：“中国已经经历了很多，并对这种病毒有了深刻的了解。”

"We are working closely together. Much respect!"

Speaking of the global spread of COVID-19, Xi said viruses know no borders or races, and they are a common enemy of humankind.

only by making a collective response can the international community defeat them, added Xi.

习近平补充说，只有做出共同合作，国际社会才能击败疫情。
