Shanghai once again proves that it stands at the forefront of China's cultural scene. The city's Pudong International airport has opened China's first museum-within-an-airport, and it's the perfect place to kill some time during a long layover. 

The museum is located at gate 90 of the airport's Terminal Two Building. And the opening exhibition features European porcelain pieces on loan from the Shanghai history museum.

The fifty-three relics are all daily-use porcelains made in European countries in the 19th and 20th centuries, and they've already attracted quite a few passengers. The small airport museum plans to hold new exhibitions twice a year, and hopes to lure many culture conscious visitors.
