In today's discussion, we’ll first look at the annual work report by Yu Zhengsheng, Chair of China’s top advisory body, we’ll talk about its special role in China’s political design, and consider what benefits China’s approach to democracy has for developing countries compared with Western ways.

We're joined in the studio by professor Wang Hui from Tsinghua University, and Laurence Brahm, a well-known China hand and the Foreign policy Advisor to the USA Green Party.
