This troupe from the city of Shigatse perform a danced called "Luoxie", meaning "dance from the south". The music is played by two kinds of stringed instruments, one with six strings and the other with three.
"The three-stringed instrument doesn’t have a long history, but it goes very well with our ancient dance. It just sounds very natural and very beautiful," said Dawa Tsering, Cultural Bureau, Shigatse.
