China supports inter-Korean dialogue and believes resuming dialogue is necessary to ease regional tensions.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi made the remarks on the sidelines of the the ASEAN Foreign Ministers Meeting in the Philippine capital Manila on Monday.
Wang said that China supports initiatives put forward by South Korea and is ready to see both sides resume contact soon.
