印度多人饮用私酒后死亡

NEW DELHI - At least 33 people died and 100 were hospitalized Wednesday after consuming illicit liquor in the eastern Indian state of West Bengal, reported local media.

Four people have been arrested for supplying the illicit liquor, also called moonshine, in Sangrampur village in the South 24- Parganas district.

The incident occurred when the villagers drank the liquor Tuesday night near a railway station and they started vomiting, had loose motions and complained of serious stomach pain.
