This paper will introduce an intelligent fire detecting system based on CAT-5,it uses the image sensor as fire sensor to collect the fire picture,then send the picture to the CAT-5 in the LAN(the distance can reach 1000 feet) ,the picture will be transmitted to computer through CAT-5.

本文介绍了一个基于CAT-5传输的智能火灾预警系统,此系统采用摄像头作为火灾传感器,通过摄像头拍摄采集火灾图像,然后将此图像送到局域网中的CAT-5线缆(传输距离可达1000英尺)处,通过CAT-5线缆传输到控制中心的计算机上,利用计算机对图像进行处理识别,判断是否有火灾发生。
