CCTV9英语新闻：中国强硬回击日本白皮书

中国对日本在其防卫白皮书里的指控表示强烈不满。我国国防部发言人吴谦表示日本防卫白皮书就正常中国国防建设发表了不负责任的言论。

China has voiced strong dissatisfaction with Japan's accusations in its newly released white paper. China's Defense Ministry spokesman Wu Qian said Japan's defense white paper made irresponsible remarks about normal Chinese defense construction.

Colonel Wu said Japan is seeking political capital by meddling in the South China Sea. He said Japan's interference in the South China Sea threatens regional peace and stability. The spokesman said Japan is accusing China of changing the status quo in the Asia Pacific, when it has carried out illegal activities by "purchasing"  China's Diaoyu Islands. At the same time it is seeking militarization by changing its Peace Constitution.

Wu urged Japan to create conditions for developing bilateral relations through concrete actions. He said Japan should reflect on history, respect the facts, and stop deceiving the international community.
