Since an amplitude-distorted and phase-distorted acoustic-wave arriving at a single vector-hydrophone can still hold the perfect spatial coherence of wavefront,a new algorithm of azimuth and elevation estimation for amplitude-distorted and phase-distorted acoustic-waves is proposed using a subspace technique of low computational complexity,based on an underwater vector-hydrophone.
