To comply with the requirement of the future warfare for military communication system, we propose a multitier cellular battlefield mobile communication system applying Virtual Cell (VC) as basic network topology architecture unit.

介绍了个人通信系统PCS（Personal　Communications　System）的基本概念、结构和技术,重点比较了基于蜂窝和Ad Hoc2种联网结构形式的PCS性能差异,并针对未来战争对军事通信系统的要求,提出了一种以虚拟小区VC（Virtual Cell） 为基本结构单元的多层蜂窝战术移动通信系统。
