常万全警告越南不要一错再错

Chinese Defense Minister Chang Wanquan has warned Vietnam not to repeat mistakes and to look at the bigger picture of China-Vietnam friendship.

Chang met his Vietnamese counterpart Phung Quang Thanh at the ASEAN-China Defense Ministers’ Meeting on Monday. Chang condemned Vietnam’s recent disruption of China’s routine, legitimate oil drilling near China’s Xisha Islands and the riots in which Chinese enterprises and nationals were targeted. He urged Vietnam to respect history and face reality.

Phung Quang Thanh said that Vietnam values its friendship with China highly. He promised that the armed forces would not take any action that would complicate the situation.
